Like the Owls Derby County are in deep trouble due to financial mismanagment , Although the Owls are slowly pulling their way out of the situation by only signing the cheaper end loan deals Derby it seem are doomed unless they can find a backer by next Tuesday ,    non of this is the fault of the supporters of these clubs so let us hope they can both survive as so many  are in a similer situation on the brink of extinction .This  happened to Bury not so long ago .

An IFA has to pass a plethora of exams in order to sell you a £5.00 a month insurance policy, however he/she needs zero qualifications to take over and bankrupt a football club, daft in’t it?

There are many small clubs that are run well, Derby isn’t a small club, it’s a second tier club that has been run badly, I believe that it will come out of this, albeit as a third tier club if  the excellent Wayne Rooney fails to save them.

The Premier League and Sky have created a huge financial carrot that club owners are happy to gamble to attain, once it goes wrong they leave their clubs in a total mess, Derby will be the biggest victim of this so far but they certainly won't be the last, football needs to reform.

but what about clubs that have owners who want to invest ,but get into trouble for spending there own cash,a well known internet company a few years ago invested a million pound in there company ,after a year it was not doing well,so they invested another million,still no good then year 4 invested another million,it took off and now is a top well known company,thats business ,if the owner can invest he should be allowed,not prosicuted

Owners should be allowed to invest on condition that the club is not responsible for the debt should it all go wrong.

But insolvency is, too. A football company (which is what a 'club' really is) has to make a profit or else eventually cease trading. Many have already gone out of business.
