Was always busy in 80's n 90's, but yeah, lost it's way a bit.

 

Unfortunately, not everything can be viably saved.

Used to go in when Ernest and Kath Drabble ran it, great pub in those days. There is only this council that relish the destruction of a 200 years old building that could easily have been given a new life.

It could very easily have been not allowed to deteriorate by caring for it, you obviously disagree, which wins the argument for me.

Sorry to see a legendary Sheffield pub demolished. My mum and dad use to go in there on there trips to 'town' on Saturday shopping trips

People make me laugh who say "its a disgrace that the venue was closed/demolished but i havent been there for 20 years"
