Sheffield Council Correct Address.

Recommended Posts

I was searching online for the correct address of Sheffield council. I got Pinstone street S1  2HH. I also got Barkers pool? Is Pinstone st within Barkers pool, or does the council have different locations  depending on nature  of mail. I have a letter to send.

To which department? If you just put SCC, Town Hall, Sheffield, S2 2HH that is more than sufficient if its a general bit of mail you are sending. You may get a quicker response if you name a person or department though.

It is repairs dept,  but I need to enclose stuff in the envelope  so not using email.

So I will ignore the Barkers Pool bit? .

I believe it is S1

Yes sorry, that was a typo on my part, it is S1.

Yes just putting the Town Hall would suffice, you are using the full postcode anyway. If you really want to put a street name I would use Pinstone St.

Hi, there are so many different addresses, it really is a nightmare. But this is the Housing and Neighbourhood Service address :

Housing and Neighbourhood Service, PO Box 5967, Sheffield, S2 9GH

This is the address copied and pasted from one of the many SCC Housing websites.

Or you can go to any First Point office and hand your letter in.

I am a tenant and I know the frustration of trying to contact SCC repairs.

Good morning Mally, thank you for the heads up.

When I looked online I did get the impression that there could be more than one address, hence why I posted my question.

'HeHasRisen' has helped me. I have put S1  2HH on the envelope. The guys at Royal mail go the extra mile. I think it should be ok.
