Digitising/Printing Old Family Photos?

Recommended Posts

Is there a specialist in Sheffield where I can take some old historic family photos and have them nicely digitised, saved and copy printed properly?

I could perhaps do this myself by scanning individually to a printer, but is there anywhere that offers a professional service for this kind of thing please?

If you have a scanner then use that because thats all they'll use at maxphoto etc

Just give it a good clean to remove any dust or smudges

I used Ron Harrison on London road for an old tatty photo of my grandad and they removed all the blemishes.

I can digitise up to massive resolutions and print up to 44 inches wide if you want larger prints very economically

I didn't realise Harrison Cameras provided this service, I shall give them a call, thanks.

My parents have quite a few old black & white photos of family members, I would like a copy of them on photo paper so that I can display some of them on my walls. I'd also like to have them saved digitally to a memory stick to preserve them. Is this something you can do?

I was thinking of buying a scanner and photo paper but id only get the one use from it so thought that taking them somewhere who can do it for me would be better.
