I'm sure they're lovely kids. But do you know what provision they are receiving in class, or the quality of that provision?

No. I know my own daughter was disruptive in class, but her class received no help because she was 'normal'.

She is now studying at university.

Just to add, there is also the problem of crap parents who get their kids labelled for personal gain. I actually overheard a conversation in the local co op between a couple of scummy mummys where the closing comment was “Oh that’s great, you’ll get middle rate and won’t have to sign on “. I mentioned this to a children’s professional and he replied that they get it all the time. He told me it’s usually word perfect to a google search for the symptoms of autism or ADHD.
