Agreed cressida. That's how I see it.  People keep calling Boris but they are repeating it like a parrot they never say what he's lied about.

What hasn't he lied about,  to write in a diary of the lies has told, the diary would be as thick as War and Peace.  :hihi:

Then it's time they were held accountable, especially when it comes down to important issues like a manifesto or a referendum when we have to trust what they tell us.

Boris however is in a league of his own. He's already been sacked from two jobs for barefaced lying, and when someone is in charge of a country I would have hoped for some attempt at honesty at least.

The drinks party debacle shows Boris as a liar in  deeds as well as words, and a man with no honour.

Theyre all at it

A Labour ex-minister who received hundreds of thousands of pounds from an alleged Chinese government agent has admitted to Sky News he did discuss policy with Christine Lee, but insisted she "gained no political advantage for the Chinese state from me".

The Conservative party should hold their heads in shame they knew exactly what Boris is and that is a liar.

Yet they voted  him   as the leader  of the  party , and by doing that they have belittled the  the proud  traditions and achievements of previous leaders.

We are all diminished when our democracy is devalued by politicians like Boris who is a self serving egotist.

With all the restrictions we are undergoing at the moment imposed by the Conservative government, (unnecessarily judging by their actions, and by a large number of the population) I think we are in more danger of a totalitarian regime  under the Tories, than we ever were under Labour. At the same time the Tories are removing the social services which are there to assist people during hardship.

We are much nearer to Fascism than Socialism

I'm not aware of any restrictions  here in the UK that are not being applied by dozens of other countries in response to a certain international state of emergency.   Of course, if you want to blame one political party in one country for that, fill your boots.

As for social services, you seem to dramatise this situation as though they are removing all.  Rather, they just don't have the imaginary money tree Labour likes to think it has, and have to limit spending to what is achievable.

There was of course a Labour  Golden money tree, which was coppiced by Gordon Brown.
