As a nation we should be ashamed and embarrassed that he is.

How are you enjoying your vaccine?

I'm embarrassed he is as well.

And yes I'm double vaccinated and boosted.

Nobody thinks the 'national socialist party' were socialists, it's a word they co-opted because calling yourself the 'national fascist lock up your opponents and take over the world party' would have been a give away.

No, they were socialists; they had swathes of socialist policies.

What modern left-wingers find so terribly painful to digest is that the Nazi brand of socialism evolved into a totalitarian regime, as is the inevitable end-game for all socialist and communist models.

The Nazis were anti-capitalists too

As for enjoying the vaccine I find the comment strange. I consider the vaccine as something that people have done to protect society . It seems to me like not spitting in the street and washing is something I can do to help protect my fellow citizens.

What my status re vaccine has to do with the topic is not relevant.

Boris made the rules I expect him to follow them.

My point is that you say we should be ashamed of Boris as our leader during this pandemic

However, we were the first and one of the fastest to roll out the vaccine

Our government isnt perfect but none are.....we are all extremely lucky to live in the UK during this pandemic

Im not embarrassed about that 👍

I don't vote Tory,  Labour, or Lib/Dems but everything these days seems to turn into  a witch hunt - looking at the photo it seemed very much a lunch break,  four people at a table,  four talking at the end of the garden,  people were told to go out in the fresh air,  he can't be expected to keep an eye on everyone all the time,  they have to behave responsibly,  they knew the rules.

Agreed cressida. That's how I see it.  People keep calling Boris but they are repeating it like a parrot they never say what he's lied about.

Poppet if you are having a party Boris will come.

With the difficulty the government has in distinguishing the difference between work and having a party.

Perhaps we should dis-continue using the word party.

Just say come round my place to Boris.

With all the restrictions we are undergoing at the moment imposed by the Conservative government, (unnecessarily judging by their actions, and by a large number of the population) I think we are in more danger of a totalitarian regime  under the Tories, than we ever were under Labour. At the same time the Tories are removing the social services which are there to assist people during hardship.

We are much nearer to Fascism than Socialism

Which social services are they removing? 🤔
