kidley #37 Posted January 8 Food for thought, my thoughts yes, DC has spent his "loose change" in the past but, if I wanted to get any of my invested money it would take about the same time as it takes DC to pay the wages when he runs a bit dry. imo there is a fair amount still to come. 1295galaxy #38 Posted January 9 Pressure mounting now on Darren Moore who still does not now is best team to getting a winning formular,Carlton Palmer as said lose to Plymouth at home, and the club will need to bring in a new manager, losing Corbeanu to MK Dons just shows how DM as made a silly decision not playing him regulary,Centre Half and New Left back needs to be brought in,plus a scoring midfielder required as there is to much pressure on our strikers or even a new striker to support Lee Gregory,Yorkshire Live is saying that Darren Moore is so similar to Jos Luhuky
 Share this content via...
bassett one #39 Posted January 9 well i may agree with hes got to go,can we afford to let him sign more players, get beavers back, thats a start, but we need to at least make the play offs and shut them that shout we are going up players as its not helping, its agrivating opponents
 Share this content via...

Nottingham Forest 1 league title 2 times FA Cup 4 times League Cup 2 times European Cup 1 times European Super Cup 1 times Charity shield.... Superior dominance of not only our country, but out continent for a number of years. All a great deal more recent than the 1920s-1930s as well surprisingly 😂 Biggest club outside the Premier league based on figures close to 100 years ago. Despite the fact that they haven't achieved naff all since the early 90's and despite the fact that they aren't even the biggest club within their city as they stand 😂😂 Add some other more recent statistics whilst your are at it. 2 x non payment of players wages 3 x transfer embargo #modern honours 😂😂 Biggest club outside of the Premier League... your condemned ground isn't even the biggest outside the Premier league 😂😂 #massive 😂😂 Edited January 10 by cmonkes
 Share this content via...
cuttsie #45 Posted January 10 (edited) I didn't mean to miff you off C , I should have said one of,( as the Owls are bigger than most ) .I am surprised you have started mud slinging and for the life of me cannot understand why as I have not mentioned any particular local connection . You are right of course The Owls are in a mess now although I did not know that the ground is condemmed .that would be a shame as the club had to fork out its own money to buy it after leaving Bramall Lane then Olive Grove as did most clubs in our Country who had to struggle and make their own way . So the players that have have not been paid are still there?????? ( if it was me I would have been off like a shot) as would most ,perhaps they don't mind working for now't ,. I think the final nail in the coffin for me would be if any players were caught drug taking , that is the final insult to all sport participators inc those who follow them . By the way the Owls are the biggest club in the City they have won more . The facts are indisputable . They were here first and played at Bramall Lane first in fact they are probably one of the three oldest professional clubs in the World . Now that really is big as history goes . PS ,sorry you got knocked out of the cup by Wolves last night , Having been to Wembley three times with the Owls I know how it feels even though two of those times were very enjoyable . Oh Well Il'l Waddle off to kip , neet neet . Edited January 10 by cuttsie Facts .
 Share this content via...

Oh yes, I admire your stance on drugs but yet again you seem to have a blinkered outlook on the subject. Owls fans even had a chant: "We've got Carlton Palmer, he smokes marijuana." When asked about the origins of the terrace song, Palmer admitted he had used a physio's urine sample in order to dodge failing a drugs test after taking the substance.
