The_DADDY 3,475 #1 Posted December 28, 2021 Hi all. I have an old pc I was going to spruce up and give away but I think the motherboard is dead. It won't boot into bios instead it constantly tries to reboot at intervals of around 5 seconds. Things I've tried are.... Swapped the ram around Tried with just 1 stick of ram(tried all four in different slots) Tried a different psu Put in a new cmos battery. Tried with a different gpu Nothing seems to work so I'm wondering if it's dead. I've looked on the mobo for any leaking or puffy capacitors but they all look OK. Is there anything else I can try? Cheers in advance 👍
 Share this content via...

Much appreciated. It appears there is damage to the pins of the cpu socket so I'll be junking the board. Thank you again for the help matey👍
 Share this content via...
