Is Farting At Work Unprofessional Behaviour

Time for a Christmassy thread.

 

Tarique Mohammed has just lost a harassment case he brought because a colleague asked him to stop farting in the office.

Is flatulence just a natural behaviour?  Should you be allowed to just let it rip at work? Do you have a right to an odour free office environment?

 

It's got to be more fun to discuss than the covid figures in Sweden compared to the vaccination rates in Kyrgyzstan.

Farting is normal behaviour, which is not to say that at work it's okay to c0ck your leg in the air, to pat your tummy or waft your hand in front of your nose after you've broke wind.

Years ago I worked with a guy whose farts stank rancid, and would laugh after he let rip. I've got a sense of humour, and would normally laugh at other's reaction of shock or disgust, but the smell was just vile.

I've got a fart machine, fits in my armpit, and when I close my arm gives a very realistic fart sound.

Of course I always **** my leg up for visual effect.

Did have a problem though at East Midlands Airport, when passing through passport control, The X-ray machine detected it...

It was a bit embarrassing explaining to security what it really was.

Correctamundo mon brave’  but that tends to happen when you are trying to hard . I speak from experience 😩
