For our wealth, the UK has one of the highest excess deaths, perhaps not the highest, but certainly not the best. Â what has wealth got to do with catching covid?? see if you can find stand alone flu death figures??? if you check what the deaths figures say its within 28 days of a covid test, so if someone has a heart attack and also covid death is recorded as covid! my dad died in lockdown with no covid test , he was 86 and had organ failure it was recorded as covid Bull!!! so its how its been recorded. Boris has followed the advisors and has done better than most countries in controlling this flu as its now known. Â
 Share this content via...
crookesey   632 #267 Posted January 18, 2022 Absolutely nothing to do with the Labour Party, they should contain their efforts to winning General Elections, not demanding the replacement of the leader of the party that trounced them. spilldig   188 #268 Posted January 18, 2022 The whole title of the thread was a bit premature anyway. It sounded  like a witch hunt because he could still be there in two years or seven if he stands and wins another term.
 Share this content via...
crookesey   632 #269 Posted January 18, 2022 When everyone eventually tire’s of this perhaps the reality will be that a) Labour need a monumental turnaround to win the next General Election and b) The Conservatives will be returned to power due to Labour’s weaknesses not their strengths.  It’s to be hoped that there isn’t a major international incident whilst this bun fight stumbles on. Jeffrey Shaw   90 #270 Posted January 18, 2022 All in all, most opinion-expressers forget that only Conservative MPs choose whom they wish to lead their party. The choice is usually between two candidates, winnowed-down by votes of all Party members- but these members cannot select the leader directly (and still less do non-members have any say). The PM is not a President.
 Share this content via...
