Millions.

Even though11,655,356,423 vaccine doses have been given so far,  the aim of fully protecting 70% of the population globally is still ongoing.

What nonsense that is.

Trouble with them you never know what's true or not.

Either they've had it a long time and lied about it, and just admitted it now.

Or they indeed have their first cases and deaths due to a fully unvaccinated population

What nonsense that is.

Of course its nonsense that there have been no Covid deaths in the DPRK.

Or do mean that the BBC are talking?

or

Perhaps the North Korean leadership talking nonsense?

or

Maybe that North Korea have already had thousands or millions of cases?

or

Even that North Korea have had no cases of covid?

or

Possibly that in North Korea nobody has died have already had thousands or millions of cases?

Give us a clue Billy.

North Korea: Covid outbreak a great disaster, says Kim Jong-un

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-61446907

This is a classic example of how the world has, and still is, over reacting to Covid.

We have a country, N Korea, in which huge numbers of people die young because of their appallingly in efficient economy and the fact they spend huge amounts on their armed forces. In fact famines are not  unknown......

Mainly because of these factors N Korea has an average age in the mid 30s and so is not actually in much danger of huge numbers of dead from Covid, yet they are saying it's a "great disaster" for them.

No it isn't, relative to the disaster that is Kim Jong-un Covid will be as nothing.

Yet more disproportionate BS.

and in the real world

Its population of 25 million is vulnerable due to the lack of a vaccination programme and poor healthcare system.

And on Saturday, state media reported that there had been half a million cases of unexplained fever in recent weeks. The country has limited testing capabilities so most Covid cases are not confirmed.

but cos we dont live there, we will never know whats the truth

Life expectancy in North Korea is estimated(2021)as being 72 years(male 68, female76).

The USA, UK, China, South Korea have offered free and unconditional support as the concern is that an unvaccinated, malnourished population with very little appropriate healthcare will suffer badly. Two years of border closures, the imposition of draconian quarantine rules which would include market closures could contribute further.
