Typing Snipped indicates I've removed something. That way anyone who wants to see what's been removed can do so and they can also see I'm hiding nothing, just focusing on a particular part of the quote.

Unlike when you quoted me then removed part of my post to change its meaning.

Sleep tight 😘

How can you possibly change the meaning of the word - Scamdemic? It only has one meaning, you don't believe it, and think it's all a scam.

It's the waking up bit that concerns me! but thanks anyway.

OK, so you do agree there is a pandemic that kills people, but you don't agree with how it's been handled with respect of the jabs, masks etc etc?

My thoughts were. With the health problems I have, do what I can to limit serious illness. Nothing more, nothing less.

You decided that the jabs and masks were not needed?

About right?  Genuine questions, and my reason. The same as you're entitled to your reasons.

But you are not ambivalent on the views of 'experts' who you think should always be believed and trusted over the opinion of the man on the street.

So, which expert is right, the one who said masks, the one who said no masks, or the one who changes their mind depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Obviously I have not answered in the way that you wanted to take the discussion.

My view on experts is that you can find one to support diametrically opposed views, whatever the  subject

.So I don’t call all experts and specialists fools  (as some do) but I do see the sense in what some of them say over and above some other sources.

What  is your view on  experts

I have read a few that I wouldn't be very proud of.Not always the opinion but your high handed arrogance. It can't go down well on a personal level either.

Well you wouldn't would you ? It must be very hard to bear, someone coming on demolishing all these  sacred cows of suppressionists with evidence from authoritative sources. And it must be even worse now that many of these objects of blind worship are all falling flat on their arses without any help from me..

"High handed arrogance" ! : what like posters on here back in April 2020 telling people to worry about their kids ? Moderators deleting posts from me and others telling parents they do not have to worry !

High handed arrogance ? No, I don't agree with you, it was far worse than that, it was disgusting, selfish arrogance and they should feel ashamed of themselves for all the unnecessary worry they caused parents. ASHAMED......

The experts trotted out to tell us what to do over the past 2 years don't appear to have a clue. They should be questioned. It's taken 2 years for some of those questions to start to be raised.

The vaccines appear to be protective in terms of serious illness and death. Just about every other narrative has been shown to be flawed.

Have you any theories as to the actual causal mechanisms by which masking and the other measures seems to have increased cases in those other countries?

I don't think masks made anything worse, they may even have had a marginal positive difference, but it was so marginal it was not worth it in any proportionate world, remember Mike Buckley ? That kind of BS is what more than a few people actually think :

(June 2021) Mike Buckley : broadcaster and Labour activist :
All secondary school pupils wearing masks would be worth it to save one life

As suspected, the legally mandated covid pass and mask requirement has gone, (for now), but venues are still allowed to mandate them. So we are in the same "show us your papers" position as just before xmas.

You've been sold a pup again. How long did that narrative last. 5 hours.

I don't think many places will demand masks or VPs, and if they do it is the duty of all of us to avoid those establishments.

Many places did last Sept/Oct/Nov, you needed a covid pass to go to a typical 1000+ theatre.

So much for looking out for businesses then, just be vindictive towards any that isn't inline with planet Chekhov shameful

Getting rid of masks in hospitals and care homes is the final step which I desperately hope they take, but fear they may not, ever.

It cannot be pleasant for the staff or the patients or residents, but, arguably, whilst still in regular everyday use they are like a cancer, ready to spread back at the drop of a respiratory virus's hat.......

BTW, I was talking to a doctor who works in a hospital just an hour ago, she explained that surgeons wear masks to protect themselves from splashes of bodily fluids etc, it's not really for anything to do with breathing out respiratory viruses.
