Good night Tops

Similar to the posts that the gullible ignore as they don't have an answer, it will all come out in the wash.

Goodnight.

What I think is that there were some and Kevin Gage wasn’t playing ,watching or punditting at the time.

Hundreds of games played ever weekend and he can only be at one of them.

You need to be a bit more questioning and analytical of information, which as an experienced writer of risk assessments would be an asset

OK the vaccines are perfectly safe and no ones has had a heart attack linked to them, not one.

Is that better for you?

Seven among how many spectators at how many clubs?

Not a rare occurence pre-vaccination even given a very quick google.

I recently ran into a mate who I'd not seen for ages, he was going to let me know when he felt like a bike ride over last summer, but I heard nothing.

Turns out he got covid and while ill with it he had a heart attack.

As it happens I've currently got covid - 4 days in and sniffles, mild headache, squits and fatigue. Hopefully I'll not be having a heart attack, I've had all the jabs, not just 1 like he'd had at the time.

So he'd had a jab then has a heart attack whilst he has covid?

Could be the jab I suppose.

In my experience no jab + covid = death or ventilator.

The fellow had a stent in already so most likely it was the strain of being in bed with covid for a fortnight.

OMG ! They really do never give up do they ?

When I say "they" I mean scaremongering "experts" and the scaremongering media :

COVID-19: Omicron 'exit wave' possible in the summer, scientists say

https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-omicron-exit-wave-possible-in-the-summer-scientists-say-12516106

Early data has shown Omicron to be a milder form of COVID-19, but that does not mean everyone can relax as hospital admissions are yet to peak, the scientists say.

A wave of Omicron cases is possible over the summer as people resume social activities and the effect of the vaccines wanes, according to scientists advising the government.

Experts from the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) said the precise timing and magnitude of the "exit wave" is "highly dependent on both population behaviour and the scale of the current wave, and cannot be predicted with any certainty".

According to modelling, the projection is for between fewer than 1,000 admissions each day in the next wave to about 2,000 each day, if plan B restrictions remain in place until the end of January and are followed by a gradual return to socialising.

"According to modelling" = Surely the three words that sum up this Pandemic....

@Chekhov Gloating is a negative response ,but that seems to be where you derive pleasure.

It’s as well that you have your own business then you can be right all the time in your own head.

You used the word gloating, not me. I do not accept it.

You have  a bit of a point about me running my own business, I suspect the self employed have probably been less happy about accepting many of these restrictions because being self employed makes it much harder to accept doing stuff you do not want to do and are certain is the wrong thing to do. I left employment mainly for that reason, I could not cope with people who less about how to do stuff than I did telling me what to do. The subsequent course of events indicate I did the right thing.
