Thats totally missing the point (probably deliberately) the events were vaccine only events and the virus spread like wildfire in them, an unvaccinated person who has recently had Covid or gave a negative test would not have caused this spread but wouldn't have been allowed in, the point is that vaccine passports do not work in stopping the spread of the virus.

Imagine if we had events like that with loads of non-vaccinated people attending then spread of the virus likely to have been much higher and more deadly - like Cheltenham / Liverpool Atletico.

 

Vaccinations certainly reduce hospitalisations and deaths.

If the unvaccinated people had provided a negative test it wouldn't have been an issue.

Still not conclusive that the events caused the deaths, people were travelling and going in pubs without these events taking place.

Odd that an additional 37 deaths occured in Liverpool hospitals after the game and 41 people who'd attended Cheltenham died afterwards.

You have noticed I hope that hospitalisations and deaths as a proportion of people infected has been reduced drastically since last spring when vaccination became widespread.

The article doesn't state that they attended, its a very badly written article that's obviously been done to attack Johnson, its hardly worth considering.

You still haven't addressed vaccine passports which was the point I started with, I think the death rates were exaggerated in the first instance so any drop is manufactured.
