Not sure what you're on about.

When people had had two vaccinations the hospitalisations and deaths came down - vaccines don't last forever so, like many other vaccines, a booster doesn't half help - hospitalisations / deaths are still a lot lower per number of infections than early last year.

If people weren't vaccinated then infections at events you linked to likely to have been much higher - which is one of the ways covid was spread initially eg Cheltenham Festival, Liverpool v Atletico in March 2020.

Thats totally missing the point (probably deliberately) the events were vaccine only events and the virus spread like wildfire in them, an unvaccinated person who has recently had Covid or gave a negative test would not have caused this spread but wouldn't have been allowed in, the point is that vaccine passports do not work in stopping the spread of the virus.

Imagine if we had events like that with loads of non-vaccinated people attending then spread of the virus likely to have been much higher and more deadly - like Cheltenham / Liverpool Atletico.

Vaccinations certainly reduce hospitalisations and deaths.

"MP's say it is not clear if these deaths were as a result of being at the events themselves".

You need to read the articles before you post them.

If the unvaccinated people had provided a negative test it wouldn't have been an issue.

Yeah he is, he's not addressing the point and skirting round it, whats your view on vaccine passports?

To use the full quote;

"MPs say it is not clear if these deaths were a direct result of being at the events themselves, or whether they came from associated activities like travelling or people congregating in pubs."

Still not conclusive that the events caused the deaths, people were travelling and going in pubs without these events taking place.

Odd that an additional 37 deaths occured in Liverpool hospitals after the game and 41 people who'd attended Cheltenham died afterwards.

Is that normal?

You have noticed I hope that hospitalisations and deaths as a proportion of people infected has been reduced drastically since last spring when vaccination became widespread.

The article doesn't state that they attended, its a very badly written article that's obviously been done to attack Johnson, its hardly worth considering.

You still haven't addressed vaccine passports which was the point I started with, I think the death rates were exaggerated in the first instance so any drop is manufactured.

Do you think vaccine passports work and why?

It seems to be a characteristic of Conspiracy Theorists that they stick to a viewpoint when the world they find hard to explain has moved on.

Can they not imagine a world where advancing knowledge, technologies and skills reduce the time it takes to bring a new vaccine into use?

The Third Royal Institution Christmas Lecture filmed three weeks ago will inform them how unfounded and outdated their viewpoint on vaccination is.

Yeah that’s why Pfizer have buried the truth for 75 years and taken out an indemnity. 😂

Good - so what about the effect of vaccinations reducing hospitalisations and deaths as a proportion of infections?
