Ipad Not Charging.

My Apple IPad has started to charge very slowly or not at all. I have it many years now so may buy a new one. I wondered if it could be the plug and connection that charge it up to the ipad. Do they ever get worn out or loose at the point of connection ?

Yes they do try a different cable and a different plug it may help.

Hiya Patricia, it's more than likely your battery has reached it's end of life...

 

You can replace it - providing the back casing can be removed...

Although my problem is solved, how will I know when my battery has reached its end of life in my iPad ?

How long between charges, @pattricia? Or more to the point, how long can you use for before you get a low battery?

Not as long as previously. I may treat myself to a new iPad. Which is the best one ?
