It started to go downhill when Peter Capaldi became Doctor - not his fault the scripts were starting to go woke . He would have been an ideal Doctor with all the eccentricities . Not bothered about Jodie Whittaker no problems with a woman just one without a personality

I'm not sure woke is the problem, poor Peter and the normally wonderful jodie have been handed truly awful scripts. The latest series hasn't been really bad, just too clever for its own good.

I'm losing interest.

Big News A New Doctor & No mention on SF?

Why's that then

Watched the announcement yesterday.

Asked if he was a fan of the show Ncuti's had to go into Boris mode .

So much waffle and bluff it was embarrassing .

'He's going to be Phenomenal' says the blurb - we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, a big trumpet about the new Doctor Who. So we have had white doctor who’s, a woman Dr.Who and now a black Doctor Who.
Can we have a Doctor Who who can ACT ! Also a better script writer than the last series would help.!

Apparently the new one has serious acting credentials - well I hope he is more believeable than the previous few.  Tennant was the best recently in my opinion and I've only watched it occasiosnlly to see what new regenerations are like, but I cant see me watching more than one episode if he's not up to it

Troughton was just before my time, loved Pertwee and Baker, lost interest after that, the BBC's box ticking won't revive my interest.
