Saw the notice in the Star deaths for Gerry Scanlan, late of 'Bitter Suite' but there doesn't seem to have been any publicity for a person who was such an important part of Sheffied music scene?

Saw them a few times in the good old days not heard of this. They were pretty damn good.

Great act. Saw them often at Crookes Workingmen's Club. Can someone put up the link to the notification of his passing?

Oh **** - a good buddy from the Hallamshire on Commonside - not seen him in the last couple of years as have only been back to Sheff  from France the once, last August, due to Covid  - and only a couple of regulars from "Gods Waiting Room" in.

 

RIP Gerry.
