silverglade5 22 #5 Posted October 21, 2021 This looks a bit borderline to me. It is at least a local service rather than the blatant computer driven stuff that comes from overseas. If this is against the rules, how does it stand against the notices for forthcoming shows at the City Hall etc - are they not adverts too? No doubt the mods will apply the rules, but I would be interested to know the rationale behind whatever decision is made.
 Share this content via...
Thirsty Relic 213 #6 Posted October 21, 2021 I thought twice about it, but decided it was an advert, not a post. Without paid advertising, how does this forum operate? How do they get their £10 a week? New posters with adverts I thought was worth reporting. I'd be interested in the rules, should someone in power choose to share them. HeHasRisen 3,397 #7 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) Do City Hall/Sheffield Arena pay the forum to start a thread for every single show they run? Genuine question. Dont see this as any different really. Edited October 21, 2021 by HeHasRisen
 Share this content via...
SFBeca 194 #8 Posted October 21, 2021 No they don't - I need to double check when I get a sec on laptop but feel happy to leave this up? Also sounds interesting and good to share for people to go to?
 Share this content via...
horribleblob 212 #9 Posted October 21, 2021 Westwood 2015 is a local charity, run by volunteers as far as I can see. https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/5106954/governing-document They're charging just £1 per hour for a six-hour course. A bargain I would say.
 Share this content via...
