It's this first verse which is upsetting the wokes, even though it isn't praising or justifying slavery in any way. Once all the buildings have been renamed,  the statues removed of anybody having even the most tenuous links to the slave trade and songs like this have been cancelled, there'll be no record of it. History is being re-written just as George Orwell prophesised in '1984'.

'White sugar' isn't a song by the Rolling Stones. They prefer 'Brown sugar' titles because them are rarer.
