Keir Starmer And Angela Rayner Are Scum, Are You?

She's made herself look a fool again on Twitter.

The Conservative page posted this with the title "we're on our way to Manchester"

She posted:

But she didn't realise Boris was going  to Leeds first....

If that's true, I agree, it's not a great strategy, nit-picking to make Boris look bad, totally comes across as desperate and petty. Especially, when you consider, you don't have to do much of anything to make him look bad, he's doing a cracking job of that all by himself.

Sadly it seems to be a daily occurrence.

The best one is when she gets on her high horse about Tory donors and donations, when she isn't immune to cashing in:

Shrodingers Borderline Semi Normal on Twitter: "Angela Rayner received £234,410 in donations in 2020. Ask yourself what favours they'll want in return?… "

She's at it today:

"The Tories should give back the money that they have taken from their “alleged” tax dodging mates."

With replies reminding her about Blair's big cash saving and this:

Unions criticise Starmer over offering wealthy donors “invite-only strategy updates”

https://www.union-news.co.uk/unions-criticise-starmer-over-offering-wealthy-donors-invite-only-strategy-updates/

Even Labour's favourite poster boy Marcus Rashford is in on the old tax avoidance.

I’m waiting for the Dominic Raab remix of this thread. The one about the Justice Secretary being unfit for office.

Maybe it’s better to be rude than it is to be nicely spoken and thick as a plank.

On topic, do you think that is better or worse than calling people "scum".

Nice swerve Tony. Don't let the bigger issues bother you...

You seem to have missed the point of the thread. Angela Raynor thinks that you are scum.

I'd like to think that you're not scum and that you will be utterly appalled when the day comes that some Tory is beaten to death while a crowd chants "Tory Scum".

You seem to have drifted off-topic at the end their Tony. You probably want the thread titled "Should Tory scum be beaten to death."

Please go ahead and start that thread if you feel that you need guidance on the matter.

Today's Rayner Rant is pretty good.  She's having a go at the Tories giving their donor "mates" (her words) contracts.

Thank goodness there's no hypocrisy there......

A businessman who benefited from a lucrative contract with the government for vaccines - and was later ennobled by Tony Blair - has donated half a million pounds to Labour

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2004/aug/24/partyfunding.uk

Quote

Lord Drayson's firm Powderject made an estimated £20m from a deal to supply the government with smallpox vaccines in the wake of September 11 2001, at a time when he had recently donated £50,000 to the party.

Remember though, that was 'New Labour'. You know, the one that won elections and put their policies into practice, but for some reason the current Labour party wants to distance itself from. Maybe something to do with illegal wars and NHS privatisation.

The current Labour party thinks it has more in common with pre 1997 Labour, the one that hasn't won a General Election since 1974, which is plainly a fantastic model to replicate.

Should a party or a leader be judged on what happened 20 years ago?

Pfft, why ever not? Labour have been living off Thatcher since 1971.
