They're private enterprises, reliant on providing good quality accommodation to people paying 500 quid a month plus, who can choose somewhere else quite easily. And whose parents will be interested and invested in where their children choose to live.

Because with crime on the up and the housing shortage for the council in years to come I think potentially they could be sold to the council for social housing

OK. So you've made something up, and extrapolated from there.

 

Park Hill was sold to private developers who have made a success of the redevelopment.
