Mud Madness Returns 13th November

Recommended Posts

MLS Contracts and Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre are pleased to announce that Mud Madness will be taking place November 13th 2021. With obstacles, mud and water to battle through this really will be mud madness! With obstacles like ‘The snake pit, Everest and a massive lake (Most of which are knee or waist high in muddy water or pure mud!) we can guarantee you won’t be clean by the time you are finished with our event!

Andy Moore, Operations Director at South Yorkshire Scouts believe ‘South Yorkshire Scouts are delighted to help run this event and we are looking forward to seeing many competitors and supporters on the day of the event! Good luck to all who are taking part…and remember to pack an extra outfit as you will get muddy!

Once again, the event will be supporting Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, South Yorkshires only children’s charity. Your support helps Bluebell Wood care for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short, both in their own homes and at our hospice in North Anston. They are a home from home for over 300 families facing the toughest of times, giving them chance to make magical memories with their children, whether they have years, months, weeks or days together. The hospice also supports the whole family wherever they are on their journey, offering a range of vital services including sibling support, respite, counselling and end of life care.

Every day, Bluebell Wood needs to raise £13,325 to keep their doors open, and only around 9% of their funding is from government sources. Everything else is paid for by the wonderful work that you do. For more information on Bluebell Wood visit www.bluebellwood.org.
