Hull V Dem Blades.

Recommended Posts

A completely different team in the last two games playing some good flowing football, however we do seem to be wide open at the back sometimes.

I expect another game with a few goals, let's hope we score more than them.

Should be a good turnout from the Blades, all my mates are going plus it is a well known blades lad's birthday bash. I am the party pooper who is not going because of family commitments and yes i have had a lot of stick for it. Like Alex says I can see there being a few goals in this game so lets hope our defending improves.

It's Steve Race's 60th Birthday I've known him since he was a lad.

He's on the train just after 8am.

Need another, can't be doing with Rogets being right 😂

Edit: clean sheet would have been nice, but at least Rogets hasn't predicted one right 😂

All in all, I am more than satisfied with the performance.

It is nothing short of refreshing, to see us playing foot with the main emphasis being to attack. The new style of play is starting to stick and confidence is rising again. Not for a long time have we picked the ball up on the half way line, before turning and driving at the opposition....this manager truly lives by the 'attack being the best form of defence' motto.

There is still plenty to work at.... whilst pushing up the pitch, we are inevitably going to be hit on the counter attack. We need to make sure that we attack sensibly, whilst still remaining disciplined to this.

It's incredibly difficult to pick out a single man of the match, which only shows how we have turned things round and how positive our overall performances are.

A mention has to go to our captain.... he had his shirt ripped off his back all game and had to wrangle with Hulls CB's. His work rate was class, he caused problems and he led from the front.

Gibbs-white...... an absolute class above. Nothing but menacing and his arrival has done so much for the rest of the team. Fantastic assist and just absolute class. Inevitable that we will all fall in love with this gem, before Wolves take him back 😂.

Osborne..... knew he would blossom under slav and he is. Work rate is phenomenal, brings us additional width and both sided presence.

Egan......fantastic to see him pop up and bang a couple of set pieces away. True servant to the club!

Fleck......seems reinvigorated at the minute. MGW has brought spark back into flecky's game. He picks the ball up, drives forward and is eager to link up in and around the 18 yard box.

Davies and Norrington-Davies.... sured everything up that side of the pitch!

Very happy chappy!..... The improvement over the last few weeks in clearly evident and a huge leap forwards. The Gaffer has to take credit for his key recruitment in the key areas.

We have to keep the work rate up! Build momentum and kick on.... we won't get it right every week, but we are heading in the right direction rapidly.

11 goals in 3 games.... safely say our drought is being addressed.

He needs to hurry up and score. Played a deeper role today, so can be only marginally forgiven. He played semi decent and linked up well, but needs to score goals....its simple

Great win for the Blades. Pity about Preston’s 96th minute goal, table would have looked a lot better. Seem to be scoring for fun now though
