If you opt (can opt) to go metered on all three utilities then the usage is up to you. Insulation/double glazing is essential in order to get the lowest bills, good hunting. 👍

I'm in a one bed flat, slightly larger than the one you describe. I pay £70 duel fuel with Octopus Energy, per month. That'd probably be about £18 per week.

How long is a piece of string? It will depend on how much you use what fuel how warm you like the place (and importantly in a flat how warm do your neighbours keep their flats) remember energy prices are going up heavily at the moment so even though Foot and Mouth is paying £70 a month now were he to renew or take out a new contract the price could be much higher depending on when he took out his contract

The biggest factor is whether the house is heated with electricity rather than gas. Landlords like the former since they don't have to pay out to get gas appliances maintained and inspected, but heating with electricity (especially if not Economy 7) is around 3 times more expensive than gas.

It is hard to say it depends how many electrical things you have and how often you use them, if you have gas central heating it will also depend on usage. Have a look at Money Saving Expert energy club, you might find that helps. Who ever you choose though when you get the first bill you will start thinking how can I get this down.

Most flats aren't on gas.
