The main point is: did he enter into a contract (legally-binding) for his booking?

If he did, the booking should stand. There's no good reason for the venue to default. Nothing's changed about him, has it?

If he didn't, and I agree that he has no right to demand a booking, why the fuss?

There are a lot worse offending things these days than what comes out of Chubbys mouth e.g. people trafficking , spiking, drugs etc. let him be and let him entertain in Sheffield ....

Its amazing that people come down on hurty words (even ones said in jest) like a ton of bricks but they’re happy to turn a blind eye to the sexual exploitation of children, it’s a very sick world we live in.

if all the people on this thread moaning about the show being pulled, had bought a ticket, i'm sure it would still be going ahead. It had hardly sold any tickets and the controversy was manufactured to cover that

Agreed, the tickets had only just been printed and his shows always sell better nearer the day and nearly always are full.

Chubby has been very considerate to his older fans. He's  sold so few tickets that most theatres haven't bothered opening their upper tiers. Thus  saving the aging fans from having to climb the stairs to see the old bigot.
