Does anyone know if the five weir walk cycle route is open all way to Meadowhall. I went a few weeks ago and parts were blocked off.

The only part that is blocked off is  where the river Don washed the path away off Attercliffe Road with a diversion along Washford Road to join back again East Coast Road. You can keep going into Rotherham or come back via the canal known as the Blue loop.

The canalside stretch from Meadowhall South tram stop to Rotherham is a really nice way to ride to Rotherham
