imaplank 10 #1 Posted July 10, 2021 Hi all , still trying to get a photo of my fathers birth mother before he passes away, it was cruel how all pictures of her were destroyed when my grandad remarried ( dad was only 9 months old) its getting more urgent now as his eyesight is failing really quickly, and he soon wont be able to see anything. If nobody can help, can anybody point me in the direction of a professional who could search for me , as im willing to try anything to get it for him. Thank you for reading this . Photo's back then 1943/44 were usually Births, Deaths, family Holidays or works outings. Today's generation are constantly snapping at anything and everything, A because of technology, and B they don't have to buy film, and wait it for the photo's to be developed by specialist. I'd suggest if the photo's were destroyed on your side i'd be looking on your Grandmothers side of the family. Have you researched your Family tree? Did the lady work? (people who might have known her) It could be possible photo's are out there waiting to be found. Plenty of Ancestry sites out there. Take their Free Trials but have what ever information you already have + any questions you need to be asking before hand. (bombard the free trial then cancel in time to avoid signing up)(i'm Scottish) Best of luck with your search. Rocker.
 Share this content via...
