How to Reset an Airbag Light
  1. Step 1 - Plug in Components. If there are any unplugged components within the dash you will need to plug them in before attempting to reset the airbag light.
  2. Step 2 - Turn Ignition to "On"
  3. Step 3 - Time Airbag Light.
  4. Step 4 - Turn Ignition "On" After 3 Seconds.

The connector under the seats is a common place for faults to occur.

Sometimes dampness, spilled water etc can ingress into the plug/socket, cause mild corrosion on the contacts. A spray of switch cleaner would help, presuming any disconnection doesn't upset the settings.

If people move seat backwards and forwards it can move plugs under seat apart.    Try seeing if they have come even slightly apart by pressing them back together.   Failing that need to get it on a code reader.   Most good garages should be able to read you the codes for around £15/20.

Just make sure it will read airbag codes.  Some cheap ones don’t
