So according to this article UEFA will remove the final from Wembley unless the Government provides a quarantine exemption for 2,500 VIP officials. Obviously VIP's and money are more important than safety. Also if they move it to Hungary they will be able to have a full stadium where Wembley will only be allowed 50% capacity. There will also be no border restrictions in the Schengen zone from next week allowing fans to travel across Europe.

Couldnt give two hoots where the final was tbh, if anything if its in front of a full crowd in Budapest it may be better than a half full Wembley.

We can't have more of this "restrictions for all except who I decide doesn't have to abide by it" policy.  It was bad enough with the G7 in Cornwall, and the fiasco when Boris was trying to broker a trade agreement with India.

If they let UEFA sponsors and guests side-stop quarantine rules then they might as well just drop all restrictions now, the public will no longer abide if it's one rule for them and another for the rich.

The format is unfair for competing countries who don't play on their own soil.  Croatia have played England on their own soil and tonight play Scotland on their own soil which doesn't seem fair to me.  It's much fairer when there is only one host country meaning only one country has home advantage.  Just for completeness the format has been better in order to control the spread of the coronavirus but that wasn't the originally intention or reason for having several countries hosting matches.

Finland had to play two nations at home also, as have Portugal and France, they all knew the format before entering, its tough titties.
