I suggest you read Brooks's own words on it, how Man City released him because he was too small and how United took him to their academy and developed him etc, etc, so yet again yes he was a product of Uniteds's academy.....

He stayed for 10 years at Man City I'm sure he didn't spend those years with Man Citys excellent backroon staff tutting and saying how small he looks, you had a finished academy product gave him a first team chance then hardly played him.
