wearysmith   141 #74 Posted July 3, 2021 (edited) IF we get through tonight it’ll be time to get your joyous strut on. There have been great tournament songs in the past like Jerusalem, Three Lions and Back Home, but nothing comes nearer to animal terrace chants than ‘Vindaloo’. Bucket!!  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=va6nPu-1auE Edited July 3, 2021 by wearysmith
 Share this content via...

Mr Bloke   1,445 #77 Posted July 3, 2021 (edited) Hmmm... ... does anyone know what colour shirts England will be wearing tonight?  Being one of the more observant posters on here, I noticed that in the 3 quarter final matches so far, all the winning teams wore white shirts and the losing teams wore red shirts.  Spooky or just coincidence?  England have worn white shirts in all their games so far...  ... so let's just hope they will be wearing their white shirts again and not red!   Just Googled - and it looks like it's white shirts so fingers crossed! Thirsty Relic   214 #84 Posted July 4, 2021 ++++++++ UPDATE! ++++++++ OK, with the latest round of the Euros complete, I think it is time to update you all on progress.  ENGLAND are through to the semis!!!!!  In other news, the first quarter-final saw tinfoilhat's Belgium pitted against Mr.Bloke's Italy, with the later team triumphing. The second saw Mr.Bloke's other team (Italy) winning through.  The third quarter-final saw ENGLAND progressing. The final quarter-final saw wearysmith's Czech side losing out in a spirited match to Jane's Denmark.  Our semi-final line up, therefore, is as follows:  Mr Bloke (Italy) v Mr.Bloke (Spain) ENGLAND v Jane (Denmark)  Our only 2 competitors remaining are Jane and Mr.Bloke who, with 2 teams, is the most successful competitor to date.  Good luck to all remaining competitors (except Mr.Bloke and Jane of course).  #COME ON ENGLAND!!!
 Share this content via...
