Edwin Brocklehurst At The White Swan

EDwin and Norma were my uncle and auntie , and yes he Took on a pub in Derbyshire. His son was the chef. Norma died but not too sure about what has happened since to Edwin. My father George , Norman , Reg , Arthur , Connie  and another sister ( can't remember her name) have all passed on. I think Edwin had another son but don't know his name . Regards

I remember Ted Brocklehurst working at a pub in Baslow (not the Devonshire Arms) in the 1980s. Bernard Shaw the ex-Blades full back was working there too. I can't remember his name but Ted's son worked as a chef at the Maynard Arms in Grindleford at one time.  I believe that Ted & Norma moved to Matlock or thereabouts. Sorry to hear of Norma's passing.
