Think both teams will have another bad season..

However, Blades under the new manager fills me with a bit of optimism, mid table finish.

The Owls, after a disastrous season will struggle again, mid table finish or lower.

Wednesday will no doubt experience another season of struggle....currently under another transfer embargo...accounts not yet submitted to the EFL ....players still not been payed up in full...season ticket holders still awaiting refunds..ticket prices not yet announced for next season....1st repayment due in the coming months on the loan taken out using the ground as collateral...threadbare squad.....

 

If we can avoid another relegation next season it will be a miracle..

What about “another potential points deduction”, that should be added to your list. And if you get one, avoiding a second relegation will be a massive achievement.

As far as Sheffield’s premier (in status, not division) is concerned, anything less than the

play offs will be a failure.

Points deduction or not next season for Wednesday...staying up will be a miracle..

Hard to tell with Wednesday until we see what squad Moore can cobble together.  At the moment though we'll do well to stay away from the bottom 4.

 

Blades I don't know. In theory you should be a shoe in for playoffs but how many relegated teams have thought that.

Wednesday face a testing season, loads of rumours flying around about the state of the club,but the owner insists hes fully commited. we shall see.Its very testing times for clubs in the current climate and the lower you go the worse it looks,I saw that Dover FC cancelled ALL there games this season as they were cashless and couldnt afford to play, what a contrast to the clubs involved in euro superleague negotiations and in HUGE debt!

Recruitment once more will be the focal point for a club thats not paying wages thats not going to be easy, free from the FFP constraints of the championship the club just has to keep a tight reign on wages.

Across the city Id expect to see the neighbours in the top 6 minimum,hopefully with Barnsley again.

Whatever happens and yes it's disappointing for blades fans not to be watching united play the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea etc.. 

 

United fans now get a day trip to Blackpool as one of their fixtures
