Update - Used Arnold Clark, £52 for 4 hours, very well organised, almost new Transit size van.

I've used Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Queens Road- not bad at all.

Plus some 'sheds' (e.g. B&Q) sometimes offer short-period van hire even to non-customers.
