Wishing Barnsley all the best for tomorrow, the 2nd leg and the Play-off Final.

I hope they breeze it.

Well run club, good Scouting regime, low budget and a fine Manager, all employed in the right way, with excellent attitudes and a never say die attitude.

We surprised them at Oakwell with exactly those values.

If we'd shown 75% of the same standard of intent all Season, we'd have been fine.

Anyhow, come on you Reds.

Onward and upward. 👍

South York's success story  in what has been a miserable season .

It's gone well under my radar, as I've been preoccupied with our fight against relegation from the PL.  Hope they do it.  Must admit, only good things to have come out of this season for me are the way that supporters from rival clubs have all come out against the proposed ESL, and the triumph of Leicester against one of the "big 6" in the Cup Final.

Be nice to see them swap places with that other South Yorkshire team.

It was Greavsie who said 'football is a funny old game'; and it certainly is.

This time last season Barnsley were on the brink of relegation to League One  whilst the Blades were landing in the top half of the Premier League.

Move on 12 months and the two clubs could be changing places.

Yes, I hope the Tykes manage it. It's 24 years since they were last there.

Lets hope that fast-forwarding 3 or 4 seasons sees both Sheffield clubs, Barnsley, Hull, Huddersfield and Rotherham in the Premier League, and some of the "Top 6" in the Championship with Leeds!  I think we can all agree on that can't we?

WEYAW (We're all Yorkshire, aren't we?   (Leeds don't count)

Well fancy that.... Another team who have managed to give themselves a promotion shout, whilst managing to stay the right side of the rules!!??!! Would you Adam and eve it Wednesday fans??

No breaching of financial fair play rules, no 'non-operational / fake business created in order to twist the rules......accounts submitted on time.

£2-3m is all they have spent!!! No parachute money in sight, no underhand tactics or unfair advantages what so ever!

Soooooo yes, 100%, Come on Barnsley! Continue to prove your mildly southern neighbours wrong!....Although how they can feel unfortunate of hard done by is beyond me! They deserve royally to be where they are now.

On a topic wishing Barnsley well ,here you are making a comment about Wednesday.......this is somewhat ironic considering you just recently bitterly complained about ......

"The sniping, the petty exchanges and ridiculous schoolyard attitude of so called adults?"

Sometimes folk just shoot themselves in the foot.....

I'd like to think the majority of the country will be behind Barnsley tonight.

Swansea are Welsh when all's said and done!

Jokin' 😉
