Personally I think it's starting to look great

Obviously miss some of the old buildings like the old cinema and even Wigfalls but fair play they've started to make it look a whole lot better than it has done in previous years?

Be great if we could get a Devonshire Green 2.

The population living in the city centre has rocketed over the last 15 years.

Maybe  the Coles building should be made into a park.

The old markets area has potential but a bit out on a limb

Ah but from memory was only a tiny pocket park,welcome though that is.

What with covid and more to the point the internet and out if town shopping there's been a big full stop to the idea of old city centre s.

Walked thru Fargate today and the vacancy rate is astonishing .

It would be good if they put the massive public toilets back which they filled in.

The nearby Wilkinsons have public toilets. A bit further up the hill, McDonalds have them, and a little way down the hill the bus station has them.

 

Public toilets are on the way out for a multitude of reasons, alongside that someone has to pay for them (me and you)
