Townhead Street Sheffield

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what establishment was at 43 Townhead street in 1901. It has approx 40 "Boarders" in it. On my Great grandfathers address (at time of burial 1901 ) it states sheffield union, but this is where he was listed at the 1901 census. I understand he could have moved from here prior to his death but i was just wondering if this was the site of a small workhouse/refuge in 1901.
