Democracy

Or is it we still use first past the post system that suits the wealthy voter I noticed the Home Secretary is keen to do get rid of  PR in Mayor elections and replaced it with FPTP no doubt to give the Tories an edge.

Ref post 25

There is an existing border between Northern Ireland and Eire the same as between other countries.

Hmm, the same as which other countries, I wonder. Certainly not the same as the US/Mexico border, or the Russia/China border. Which ones could it be.

And what proportion of people living in the UK are mad keen on the DUP and their ilk remaining in the UK?

Just to help out the confused the map below shows where the border is.  The border is where the red area meets the emerald green area.  Just for completeness the red area is part of the UK and the emerald green area belongs to the EU. The DUP are big supporters of being part of the UK and most certainly don't want to belong to the EU.

Making a big fuss about the DUP not wanting to remain in the EU is somewhat undermined by the fact that, even including DUP supporters, the area in red voted to remain in the EU.
