Joe Bidens comments  where carefully chosen.

He also made them after the jury was sequestered.

You've got it the wrong way round.  The desperation was on the part of those who wanted to see the ex police officer found guilty of murder.  It's irrelevant that the jury was sequestered. Biden should have waited until the verdicts were delivered before making any comments.

People were desperate for an officer to be held accountable.

What message would it send after that video to both the police and public if there was judged to be no wrong doing.

The thing is there's been many recent cases where police have been caught killing people in very questionable circumstances.

Only 2 hours after the Chauvin case they shot a 16 year old girl dead with 4 shots to the chest.

Maybe the body cam will clear up what happened ,but what there is online already is a clip of officers at the scene while they body is still lying on the pavement  shouting "BLUE LIVES MATTER" at people.

ab6262 for a start.

" a dangerous precedent has been set"

And I do wonder if the victim was white whether the case would have played out the same

Well a dangerous precident has been set. Ab6262 is simply stating what they believe to be a fact and I agree. Does that mean I was desperate for a not guilty verdict?

In what way?

The rioting?

The looting?

The murders?

I'm not sure what you mean.

As you said in your first post you had not been following the trail.

There's a contradiction in your statement.

I wasn't sat in the jury room either but it was a unanamous  verdict.

Even God bless the rabid Fox host Janine Pirro, former prosecutor and Judge thought it a fair appliance of justice

I later stated I'd binge viewed lots of stuff about the trial.

Your point is?

I would argue the most dangerous precedent would be officers are above the law.

And remember that officer was happy to do that in full view of the public, what if there was no film.He would nigh on certain been aquitted

Oh my god you had to play the "Trump is a white supremisist" card 🙄

This has nothing to do with Trump. He's gone for now so concentrate on the future 🙏

Sadly Trump emboldened his base, and in the minds of many of his supporters legitimised racism.
