No, as I said, I'm not back Mr Bloke. My computer's broken and, to add insult to injury (including injury), can't type particularly well either, mainly due to losing both arms whilst attempting to bump start the Alcocopter by running round in circles, holding on to the rotor blades. I've gone profoundly blind too, so unless you're accepting braille portraits (lentils glued on to the canvas), I don't stand much of a chance.

Good to see you! And was good to speak to you as well, albeit by accident during the lockdown!!

(he rang the wrong Ash, but we chatted for about an hour! :hihi:)

Good to see some old names back. Inc the DADDY!

I haven't posted much since the lockdowns started.

It's good to see you too Ash.

It's been a long time matey . Hopefully we'll start to see more of us old posters return and start contributing again. The new owners seem really good, very keen to make the forum work. I have a great feeling about SF's future.

I’m also pleased to see the old posters again.

Back in the day I could spend an hour or two browsing the site most evenings , and enjoying the banter.

I’ve now left Sheffield but still look in. What used to be an hour or more visit sadly became five minutes at the most.

Here’s to a better future.

... I'm sure lentils glued onto canvas would be perfectly acceptable Mr Alco.

In fact, thinking about it, as long as you intend to use vegan-friendly PVA glue then that's quite a shrewd move for you to target the vegan votes...

Mr Bloke, Alco's not posted since Thursday, not surprising as he's got no arms.

A suggestion,

In various locations around the country you can pick up  find Prosthetic arms..

For instance in Whitehall a pair of Churchill's.

Edward Colston ones can be found at the bottom of Bristol Harbour.

How about the RAF museum in london, a fine pair of Douglas Bader arms, although he might have to swap his legs for them.

Nelson's would be terrific, but their situated on top of a 100ft Corinthian Column, bit difficult.

Personally I would go to Bolton and grab purchase a pair of Fred Dibnah's. very talented arms are those.

I understand your concerns Mr Padders but...

... knowing of Mr Alco's past tendency to exaggerate the truth just a little bit, I wouldn't be at all surprised if his reported loss of limbs turns out to be nothing more than a nasty paper cut!

Not many people know this but...

... it was him and a few others (you know who you are) who first encouraged me to keep making my bits of animated nonsense.

That's something I will always be genuinely grateful for... but probably something that many might never forgive him for! ;)

It'd be nice to have him back on here... as it would a few others, including in my opinion, the bestest mod the forum ever had...

... Mr Pete Morris! :)

Agree with that Mr. B.

But I've always been in love with the Forum Sweetheart.

DAME NIKKI RED.

I thought my ears were burning!

Not sure about Dame tho? Makes me sound like I’m either 103 or a pantomime man in drag 😂
