Joe Biden The New President Thoughts So Far?

Recommended Posts

My thoughts are that he's a big improvement on the rabble rousing, lump of spam that preceded him.

Shame.

In other news ,of the weird.

Is Trump's favourite film ,The Wrong Trousers?

It would never be that. It's neither about him nor does it have him in it.

Unless someone's produced some sycophantic biography about him it's probably the Home Alone film he appeared in.

At this point in North America's storied history, almost anybody would've made a better POTUS than Trumpet IMO, the man got impeached, twice! And would therefore struggle to get elected as a Milk monitor in an Elementary school.

Although, if I was American and had been old enough to vote at the time, I'd possibly have voted for Bush senior or Bill Clinton, Clinton in particular seemed like a nice enough bloke.

Clinton was impeached and disbarred over the Lewinsky scandal and there are allegations he was expelled from Oxford in 69 over an attack on a girl called Eileen Wellstone

Relates to this

It's weird ,there must be some normal explanation.

This was the NC rally on Sat night.

No weirder than trying to buy Greenland

Or trying to get the Attorney General to investigate ( take a breathe) that the italians  via military satellite interfered with the voting machines in New Mexico

No matter how bad he is he'll be a massive improvement on his predecessor who seemed to have a weak grasp of reality and a narcissistic personality disorder.

I didn't like Biden's comment " America is now back to lead the world"...errr.....no thanks

Think that likely relates to the rejoining of the Paris Accord and deciding making nice with the Nato allies

Not sure if the US also withdrew from the WHO too under the previous President

Somewhat like the feeling in 2016/17 – he's good because he's not Hillary.

Strange that the previous Pres never got above 49 % in popularity  but Biden is running at 62%.

Biden is a down the line moderate which makes the story that he's  radical Socialist, even if your choice of poison is Fox ( cough) news, seem hard to square.

Both parties have their wings while the Dems gave been drifting right since Clinton's triangulations, the Republicans have a section marching to the fringes wanting minority rule in perpetuity .

The idea that Biden is a "radical Socialist" is laughable.

It seems that some Republicans want to see the decline of democracy in the US.
