MrAllen2K21 Â Â 0 #1 Posted March 14, 2021 Above. Â For some reason, I get a constant stream of messages on Facebook alluding to rather pornographic content. Â I know the ads on there are geared to stuff I search for, but at the moment my main Googling is gaming related and job searching, I don't go on Porn sites. Â Short of closing my account (again) is there anything I can do to stop this? Obviously I can't post examples, you know why. Ghozer   112 #2 Posted March 14, 2021 Clear your browser cache and cookies... and make sure that next time, whoever does a search for that uses incognito mode That and you can report the ads on FB each time, they shouldn't be on there.. Thanks for that, it's not ads though, it's actual messages. Â
 Share this content via...
iansheff   88 #4 Posted March 14, 2021 I follow a photographer on FB and they had their name Hi jacked by someone in the States who was apparently posting pornographic pics, fortunately I only got one notification. The photographer contacted FB to try and get the name back but had no joy from them and ended up starting again with a new name. If it is similar and someone you follow who has been hacked stop following them, if not can you block the person who is sending them? I always do but still get them coming back  I know it's probably Russian spam bots though, like I said I don't "do" Porn sites to get the targeted ads.
 Share this content via...
