No doubt CW is a loss to the Blades but Managers will come and managers will go, the main thing is Sheffield United lives on.

They do but it's who comes in or they could be coming and going like us. Also no McCabe anymore so quite uncertain for them moving forward.

To sack the Blades "Messiah" is bad enough.  If there's any truth in the Heckingbottom rumour, then Prince botty roll doesn't understand football, and certainly doesn't understand big city rivalry.

Could be a change of heart. A lot of managers in the prem have expressed incredulity.

It looks like a poker game to me. Wilder threatens to walk unless he gets X, Y and Z. The owner thinks he’s bluffing. CW resigns. Owner’s turn to bluff - calls press conference. More talks, press conference cancelled. More talks, compromise reached around midnight. Blades go on a winning run and stay up.

Wednesdayites sick.

However you reckon it, Prince gave CW to spend 20+ million on strikers...nil return.  Therefore...?

The pub league and Championship promotions count for little in that context.

Not if 25+ million gets him the players he actually wanted...

A lot of United fans have said that your wage policy (if its as low as rumoured) was a good thing, its just cost you your best manager for decades.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ended up at Celtic, would be another forward step in his career.
