I was in the "Unit" with old bat Freeman and chums and hated it, if I hadn't made friends with my ex, I'd have walked out and got the Bus Home on the first lunch break.

 

And then just over 3 years after I left, in May 1995 I saw a "reunion" advertised in the Star, and booked the afternoon off work (I was working in the Oxfam on King St at the time) to attend, waste of time that! There was only me that turned up! Plus because I didn't, and still don't, know the Bus routes between Norton and Lower Walkley, it took me 3 hours to get Home.

 

So anyway, does anyone remember any of the teachers from that period?

 

Just after the "reunion", they knocked the school down and turned the grounds into a Housing Estate... Best thing they ever did to that place IMHO.
