Bluetooth Keyboard Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi

The wireless keyboard on a friend's Windows PC has suddently stopped working. I changed the battery and still the Pc would not recognise it. I also tried a different keyboard with the same result.

A wireless mouse IS working, however.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks

It might help to switch everything off that is using Bluetooth and then try to connect. Perhaps updating drivers might help.

Is it really Bluetooth? I have a Cherry Keyboard with a transmitter but it is RF - bluetooth tends to be for Macs (the keyboard has a switch to change mode from RF (Windows/Linux) to Bluetooth (Mac). Unless of course it is definitely a Bluetooth keyboard. Has your friend tried System Restore to an earlier time when the keyboard did work? (Difficult to do I appreciate with no working keyboard). Do you or they have access to a USB keyboard?

Maybe the issue could be in the driver's update. As a variant, check it
