SFBeca   194 #1 Posted February 22, 2021 It's the 77th anniversary of the Mi Amigo crash in Endcliffe Park today.  The official memorial is usually held on the Sunday closest to the anniversary but was sadly cancelled this year, did anyone attend the socially distanced service yesterday?
 Share this content via...

S10Life   0 #3 Posted June 2, 2021 Hi. Sorry to drag up an old post, but the article above mentions dragging the rear gunner from the wreckage with another man. I believe the other man was my Grandad, Henry Hardy, who was in the Civil Defense as an Ambulance Officer, who happened to be driving past when the plane crashed. My dad recalls the story, and the gunner was alive when they got him our but died shortly after.
 Share this content via...
