pattricia 578 #1 Posted February 3, 2021 My neighbour is a pensioner and is on Pension Credit. He keeps getting phone calls from energy companies wanting to put him a new boiler or windows in. This morning it was a firm called Green Energy. He did not get into conversation with them, as he’s had so many telephone scams lately. I have heard that if a pensioner is on Pension Credit you get a grant towards the installation. He is asking my advice but I cannot help him. Has anyone else on SF had help like this ? willman 10 #2 Posted February 3, 2021 It is true that they can get a grant BUT it might not always cover the full cost. its worth checking online and finding out. I had the wall things and extra loft insulation done many year s ago. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/green-homes-grant/
 Share this content via...
