Banjo Griner   10 #123 Posted July 15, 2006 A mink had grabbed a chick and was trying to take it. That's the way nature works. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for murdering and eating other lifeforms. (sorry)  As for endangering voles - that is a shame, we're losing a lot of indigenous wildlife. I blame the fur trade for bringing them into the country in the first place.
 Share this content via...
vindie8el   10 #124 Posted July 20, 2006 A good way to get rid of mink is to let some wild tigers into the wild and let them eat the mink. Just becarefull not to let the tigers go near the cannon pub in town. Dont want the tigers to get intimidated
 Share this content via...
TESTPASS Â Â 10 #125 Posted July 20, 2006 I think they would get on as the tigers are probably a persicuted species too and probably go for the folk that look down there noses at then instead.
 Share this content via...

owdlad   10 #130 Posted July 20, 2006 Can't you trap the mink, then keep them in some kind of wire cage until their fur is good enough to be sold. Then sell it..........job sorted. No Mink.  There again you would probably be complaining about duck crap all over the city centre next year..........keep the mink and sod the ducks. TESTPASS Â Â 10 #131 Posted July 20, 2006 They are now whether we like it or not.Either live with it or EX-TER-MIN-ATE Â Â exactly m8, now we have done what we did to australia with the cats so either we irradiacte while we can or stfu about it and let nature take its course. Â Im all for the crual to be kind attitude but they want there cake and eat it. either im going to be crual to the mink by knocking its brains out or we live with it. Â in the mean time they are still killing to survive as they know no different. Â lets get off our arses and rid of them and stop debating it , the problem only esculates if we do.
