Received £135 refund today after making a claim for over payment of application fees  to register a power of attorney.

 

Claim a power of attorney refund from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2017 but you must claim your refund by 1 February 2021.

 

Its all online and you do not need the original paperwork - https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney-refund

 

Its is the Government website and the money  is returned to the account  the fees were originally paid.
